Up on Cloud Cuckoo, Bob Cotton had a very important day ahead of him.  It was his first day at school, , and he was very excited. He was looking forward to meeting his teacher, , and making new friends .

But one thing worried Bob.  He wasn’t quite sure how he would find his way there.  He had never been to school before and he didn’t know the way.  To help him, Mrs Cotton took out a piece of paper and wrote down a list of directions, , so that Bob would be able to find his way, and with his list, his school bag, , and his pencil case, , he set off for school.

 At the bottom of his road he stopped and looked at his directions

At the shop turn left, , they read.  Bob looked at the shop, .  He saw in the window a new football, and he thought for a moment. ‘I can play football with all my new friends.’  And so he went into the shop and bought the football. Tucking it under his wing he looked at his directions again.
